STO to Cooperate with France La Poste

STO World Wide Express, China’slargest private express company, has intention to cooperate with France La Poste, the third-largest post group in Europe, to set step into the international express market.

With the commitment to WTO, China’s express market would be open to foreign investment from December 11 of this year, whichbrings great pressure to express companies.

STO needs to expand its business scope under such circumstance,revealed a high-level official of the company. They are seekingfor foreign business partners in hope of obtaining new profit growth areas through introducing foreign strategic investment and expanding international express business.

Meanwhile, France La Poste is also eager to find a business partner in China, seeing Europe’s first two giants TNT and DHL are making profit from China’s express market.

France La Poste has conducted negotiations with some other Chinese private express companies like EAS, DTW, and ZhaijisongExpress, but hasn’t come into the practical negotiation.

The official of STO said that they could negotiate with France La Poste on all practicable cooperating ways, including mutual agency, or even capital cooperation.
