Cambodia Post suspends international post
At the weekend Cambodia Post notified customers that it has suspended mail to all countries due to the spread of Covid-19, which has interrupted air transportation almost completely. The post office did not confirm when it will resume International services again, reports The Phnom Penh Post.
Cambodia Post director-general Ork Bora said: “Due to Covid-19, flights via Thai Airways, Dragon Air, Malay Air, and ANA air have been suspended until April 30 when the carriers will provide further information.
“Cambodia Post aims to serve all types of domestic and international postal service with no discrimination in terms of race, colour, political or religious affiliation with the mission and duty to receive, collect, ship and distribute all types of mailings, local and international mail and express mail,” it said.
Cambodia Post will continue its local service.
