FM Logistic gets certification for logistics centre in Poland

France-based logistics company FM Logistic has received the certificate of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for its temperature-controlled Błonie facility, near Warsaw. 

This certificate recognises that the company’s procedures meet European Commission standards for a secure supply chain for medicinal products. It applies to the distribution of medicines and pharmaceutical distribution.

FM Logistic offers storage and distribution services to 40 pharmaceutical manufacturers in Central Europe. Every day, the company delivers pharmaceutical products to nearly 700 hospitals, 6,000 pharmacies and almost all pharmaceutical distributors in Poland.

The multi-client Błonie facility, which serves as a nationwide distribution centre for several FM Logistic’s pharma customers in Poland, has a surface of 72,000 square metres and a capacity of more than 140,000 pallets,
