DHL: helping retailers improve the returns experience

DHL Parcel UK has launched a new returns service for retailers. Just Right Returns offers a simple and convenient way for consumers to drop-off and track returns.

Consumers can return their items through any one of the thousands of ServicePoints located in convenience stores around the UK.

With one in three online deliveries being returned, DHL has created a platform for retailers who want to make the returns experience seamless for their customers. The service has been built in partnership with Narvar, experts in online customer experience. Narvar has helped develop a simple returns portal which can be customised and branded by the retailer.

Through the portal consumers can identify their closest and most convenient ServicePoint, select their labelling preference, track their return and sign up for notifications.

Return labelling is designed to be as simple as possible, consumers can either use an in-box label provided by the retailer, alternatively they can go online to access a return barcode which can be scanned at the local ServicePoint or download a label for printing at home.

Peter Fuller, CEO, DHL Parcel, says: “The returns process is such a critical part of the e-commerce experience. Proactive retailers recognise the importance of making it as simple and convenient as possible for their consumers to increase conversions and engender loyalty. It was with this goal in mind that we created Just Right Returns. Our returns portal, drop off and tracking system are easy to use, customisable and offers consumers peace of mind throughout the returns journey.”
