DHL expands its presence in the Chinese market

Express delivery and logistics giant DHL opened its first Quality Control Centre (QCC) in Beijing yesterday. The QCC is the firm’s nerve centre, able to monitor all flight information and shipment movement data can be monitored as it happens, from the time a package is picked up from a customer’s home or office to the final delivery.

* The QCC also means a quicker and efficient response to emergencies, and provides more reliable security for the entire DHL air express operation network.

* The centre is DHL’s 11th such facility in the Asia-Pacific region.
