DHL expands operations in Brazil
German express delivery services provider DHL Express expanded its operations in Northeast and Centre-West of Brazil with the launch of new DHL service points there, it was reported on October 4, 2005.
The presence of DHL Express in these areas helped the company boost by 30 pct its turnover in Brazil.
Besides the capital of the central-western state of Goias Goiania, the company started to offer its services also in the capitals of the central-western states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, namely Cuiaba and Campo Grande.
In Northeast, DHL Express offers its services in Sao Luis, the capital of Maranhao state, Teresina, Piaui’s capital, Natal the capital of Rio Grande do Norte state, the capital of Alagoas state Maceio and also in Joao Pessoa and Campina Grande in the state of Paraiba.
DHL Express has previously operated in the mentioned cities through partners that collected and delivered the goods.

German express delivery services provider DHL Express will open an office in Novo Hamburgo, in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, in the near future.
The office will offer services to the companies from the leather and footwear sectors in Rio Grande do Sul.
DHL Express also expanded its operations in Northeast and Centre-West of Brazil with the launch of DHL service points there. Besides the capital of the central-western state of Goias Goiania, the company started to offer its services in the capitals of the central-western states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, precisely Cuiaba and Campo Grande.
