Q diversifies by joining Palletline

High Wycombe- based Q Logistics began operating for Palletline on Tuesday night covering the HP1-16 HP27 and SL9 postcodes. Q runs 25 trucks and will input around 50 pallets a night, initially. The move is a diversification for the firm, which is one year old but has a long pedigree, starting with Direct Salt, which was formed 50 years ago by the grandfather of Q owners Nick and Jon Quesnel. That firm was bought by Salt Union seven years ago and managed by the brothers; they brought the business back last year and gave it its current name. There is no relation with either QTR Transport, which was covering its postcodes or Q4, also based in High Wycombe, says Jon Quesnel.
