McGill says no to network fee.

Bristol-based I J McGill is switching to Palletline from Palletways on January 1, 2006. MD Ian McGill says that Palletways now wants a payment to be a member for a limited period with no certainty thereafter- different terms for those which have applied over the past seven years. He prefers the member ownership model at Palletline. The change has been made easier by an agreement to buy the depot and business at Gregory Distribution’s 6,000sq m at Keynsham, McGill says. His firm runs 50 trucks and its website was sporting the Palletline logo on Tuesday.
