FedEx expands in North Africa

The global express service provider FedEx has completed his efforts to expand in North Africa and the Middle East. In Libya and Algeria, FedEx services will be offered via a network of global service participants. (GSP).
In Libya, the express service provider is collaborating with AL Zajel express as its global services participant. Al Zajel offers FedEx services (international priority services, FedEx 10 kg and 25 kg boxes, door-to-door and time-definite delivery services, including customs clearance) to customers within Libya. Offices have already been opened in Libya’s four largest cities. In Algeria, the global service participant is Falcon Express Inc, which has already been handling the FedEx services in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen.
These two new initiatives in Libya and Algeria complete the additions planned for the Middle East, said Hamdi Osman, vice-president of FedEx Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Africa.
