Some info for the library re JD Williams becoming TNT Post:
1,500 couriers
Plan to have 80 depots
Hub will be in Nuneaton
Re-branding and full integration of JD Williams planned to be completed by 28th August 2006
Currently JD Williams trunking has been done by DHL – will in future be done by TNT Logistics – NOT TNT Express
There are 30 Regional Managers managing the courier network.
They will be targeting Packets – defined as things that will go t through a letter-box
and Parcels – things that won’t!!
He will be getting a colleague who will be working along side him and he will focus on the packets business and she (Cecile someone form Amsterdam) will focus on parcels.
