The Spanish transport and logistics company Spain-Tir, based in Barcelona, reported a 7.7% increase in turnover for financial 2005 over the previous year’s result, reaching EUR 220.28 million. Pre-tax earnings dropped by 20.9% to EUR 5.01 million. Profit after tax was EUR 3.63 million. The volumes of goods transported in 2005 rose year-on-year by 4.7% from 1.225 million t to 1.281 million t.
