Starlinks Global to adopt Hurricane’s “game-changing Kona API”

International cross-border delivery specialist Starlinks Global is the first company to adopt technology to enable its customers to enjoy a seamless global e-commerce experience.

Starlinks Global has integrated Hurricane Commerce’s all-in-one Kona API. Kona is the first API of its kind to cover all of the critical cross-border areas of HS code allocation, duty and tax calculation, denied parties screening and prohibited and restricted goods screening.

Kona is the latest product innovation from Hurricane, a world-leader in the provision of cross-border data services supporting smooth and speedy customs clearance.

Kona brings together the best of earlier Hurricane products in one API and adds real value to customers handling high volumes of cross-border shipments.

Starlinks Global supports a multi-origin anywhere-to-anywhere model in which whatever products customers sell online and whatever the destination, it can enable smooth cross-border deliveries.

Beth Chapman, Managing Director of Starlinks Global, said: “Kona, was a competitive all-in-one solution for our flourishing business. It is truly game-changing in terms of the data services it provides and the benefits it offers to our customers in achieving the best possible customs clearance experience.

“Starlinks Global works with established and newer brands, all with the common desire to grow across borders. Our uncompromising care, quality, innovation and expertise sets us apart from other delivery solutions providers.

“The integration of Hurricane’s Kona solution means that Starlinks Global is able to provide our customers with the data services they require and fits with our broader commitment of developing and adopting best-in-class cross-border technologies to ensure our clients and consignees all over the world have the best possible delivery experience.”

Martyn Noble, CEO of Hurricane Commerce, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Starlinks Global and for them to be our first Kona customer.

“We are extremely proud of our world-leading tech team at Hurricane whose innovation in AI-driven, real-time data technologies continues to change the face of cross-border e-commerce for our customers and, in turn, their customers.

“Success in cross-border e-commerce depends on the quality of your data and Kona provides Starlinks Global with the capability it requires in one API to grow existing and enter new international markets.”

Hurricane’s global footprint of customers includes carriers, postal operators, retailers, marketplaces, carrier management platforms, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
