New CEO for Asendia UK
Today, Asendia UK, the cross-border ecommerce specialist, announces Renaud Marlière as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). An internal appointment, Renaud’s promotion underlines Asendia’s desire to nurture leadership talent internally, and he assumes the role on 1st November 2023.
Marlière has been an integral part of Asendia’s senior global team since the company’s inception over a decade ago. In his previous role, as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, he was crucial in Asendia’s successful pivot from being a mail-focused company into a highly successful e-commerce business, devising and ensuring the seamless execution of high impact marketing and business development initiatives.
Commenting on the promotion, Simon Batt, Asendia CEO worldwide states, “Renaud is highly customer orientated and an inspirational leader. He’s bringing extensive experience to the role and a deep understanding of Asendia, its customers and partners. He also has an excellent ability to devise clear strategies and oversee seamless execution and deliver projects to reach targets. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact he’ll have in the UK.”

A seasoned industry leader, Marlière brings thirty years’ experience to the role, with a track record honed at senior positions in international mail, parcel, and e-commerce. In 2003 he joined La Poste where he took on diverse leadership roles within the International Business Unit, encompassing global sales, marketing, and distribution. He started his career at Royal Mail International and as Sales Director (France) at Spring.
