Postal Service Names New Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President

Harold Glen Walker, a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of domestic and international financial experience, has been named Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for the U.S. Postal Service.

In his new position with the Postal Service, Walker is responsible for the organization’s Finance, Treasury, Information Technology, and Supply Management functions. He will serve as a member of the Executive Committee, reporting to the Postmaster General, and will also serve as Chairman of the corporate Capital Investment Committee.Walker previously was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Invensys Control, and was also Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for a significant portion of Whirlpool Corporation’s international operations, encompassing 35 nations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. While at Whirlpool, Walker organized and located a shared services center in Dublin, Ireland that has served as a model for many major multi-national companies.
