Sid Hart, Managing Director of Asia Pacific Post Cooperative will be stepping down on 4 January, 2024 and joining Singapore Post to lead their international strategy.
In a post on Linkedin, Sid describes the transition as “bittersweet” and reflects on the “remarkable growth and experiences this role has offered me”.
The Post reads: “For years, I’ve advocated for transformation within the postal industry. Now, it’s time to “put my money where my mouth is.” With great excitement, I announce my next venture: I’ll be joining Singapore Post to lead their international strategy, working alongside Li Yu and his dynamic team, including my current boss, Hon Chew Lee.
An incredible network of co-workers, mentors, and friends has helped shape my time at the Cooperative into a journey of immense reward. To each one of you, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for enriching this chapter of my life.
As I transition, my commitment to driving transformation in the postal industry remains; I’ll be working hard to prove that SingPost and the industry as a whole still have relevance and importance in the world, whether we use traditional postal channels, commercial ones, or hybrid ones. I am eager to embrace this new role and continue making impactful contributions.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my professional journey. I look forward to forging new paths and maintaining our collaborations in this exciting new chapter!
The Cooperative will always have a special place in my heart, and I’ll continue to support it in my new role. But, to anyone considering applying for the role, do it; you won’t regret it!”
