EURODIS: We have more than quadrupled the number of shipments since 2019

In 2023 EURODIS, the network for the international transport of parcels and pallets in 38 European countries, has grown by 80 percent.  Despite the weakening economy in Europe, EURODIS was able to further increase its high growth rate of recent years in 2023.

“We have more than quadrupled the number of shipments since 2019,” says Jens Reibold, Managing Director of EURODIS GmbH. The network, whose absolute shipment volume is in the double-digit million range, had assumed a lower growth rate in its forecast due to the economic weaknesses. “But since we decided to also support B2C flows in 2015,  the growth has been huge.” Previously, EURODIS had focussed on B2B business. Now, more than every second consignment is sent to a private address.

Reibold attributes the fact that the influx of B2C transport is continuing primarily to the quality of the partners in the EURODIS network. “Our members are strong national companies that have maintained a high degree of flexibility and are very committed to the continuous improvement of international transport processes. Therefore customers trust in us.”

Partners include companies such as Bonafide (Switzerland), Österreichische Post (Austria) and its subsidiaries in CEE, FAN Courier (Romania), WeDo (Czech Republic), PostNL (Netherlands), Redur (Spain and Portugal), SDA (Italy), trans-o-flex (Germany), Interoute (Luxembourg) and Geniki Taxydromiki (Greece and Cyprus). “On the other hand, EURODIS is developing new standard tools for the B2C sector in particular, with which we create a high level of transparency in the shipment process for both senders and recipients, thereby achieving a high rate of successful first delivery attempts as well as great customer satisfaction.”
