InPost: our aim is that every UK consumer uses our lockers as part of their daily lives

Hot off the heels of its positive Q1 results, InPost, the out-of-home delivery and parcel locker specialist, is celebrating once again after hitting a major milestone of 7,000 lockers in the UK. The impressive result comes following exceptional demand from consumers and retailers nationwide, underpinned by the locker leaders’ aggressive growth plans.

Neil Kuschel, UK CEO at InPost, commented: “We’ve seen significant demand for InPost lockers and thanks to this latest 7,000 milestone, we’ve now achieved a substantial 40% increase in locations since March last year. The locker market remains extremely strong, and we want to help our retail customers capitalise on this demand.

“Our aim is that InPost is ubiquitous and that every store has an InPost Locker, and every UK consumer uses our lockers as part of their daily lives. So, this milestone is a big deal for us as it means we’re one step closer to making that happen.”

InPost’s recently released Q1 2024 results highlighted strong demand for parcel lockers, with UK volumes once again more than doubling YoY (+147%) to 17.2m. So far in Q2, the business is already running at volume growth of c20% at Group level, with total international volume growing at an even faster rate than Q1.
