Correos awards Afanías the contract for producing its training manuals

At its last meeting, the CORREOS Investment Committee approved AFANÍAS to carry out a contract for the Association to reproduce or colour print the training manuals and documents that the postal services company requires for its training activities each year.

AFANÍAS is a non-profit association with over 40 years experience, driven by the families of people with mental handicaps.

The aim of the corporate social responsibility actions that CORREOS has been implementing for many years is integration. And among the many integration related activities, support of the employment of people with physical and mental handicaps is the most important. For this reason, CORREOS has decided to contract services from Foundations, Special Employment Centres and Occupational Centres that work with these groups, so that their profits can be reinvested in the creation of new positions. AFANÍAS joins the organisations that work with CORREOS as part of its corporate social responsibility programme. Other bodies include the Carmen Pardo-Valcarce Foundation, the Gil Gayarre Foundation, the APAI Foundation and the “OCON Business Centre” Special Employment Centre.
