New Chief Commercial Officer for DHL Global Forwarding

 Amanda Rasmussen has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at DHL Global Forwarding.

In her new role, she will report directly to Tim Scharwath, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. Rasmussen succeeds Thomas George, who has moved to the Group level as Executive Vice President, responsible for implementing the new corporate strategy 2030.

Given the changing market situation and the increasing complexity of trade and customs, she will help us demonstrate our strong value proposition to our customers as we navigate these challenges. At the same time, I would like to thank Thomas George for his commitment and the important role he has played in developing our business over the past few years.”

With nearly 30 years in the logistics industry, Amanda Rasmussen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and management. Her career includes over 15 years of direct sales experience in various roles across the US, Asia, and Europe, as well as significant leadership positions in regional and product P&L management. She joined DHL Global Forwarding’s International Supply Chain (ISC) business in 2010, initially focusing on the South Asia-Pacific region. In 2015, her responsibilities expanded to include ISC activities across the Asia-Pacific region. To further develop her operational and commercial expertise, Amanda held leadership positions at Indo Trans Logistics and Expeditors International before returning to DHL in 2024 as Senior Vice President, Order Management Solutions (OMS).
