UPS France’s Access Point network expands with Pickme
UPS is accelerating its last-mile expansion in France through a collaboration with Pickme, a fast-growing nationwide neighbor-to-neighbor delivery platform.
By integrating Pickme’s model into its logistics network, UPS is advancing one of the most operationally complex parts of e-commerce: the final mile of the journey. This collaboration adds over 800 deliver points, complementing the existing UPS Access Point network, which already includes nearly 9,000 alternative delivery locations across France.
UPS shipping customers can now optimize deliveries in urban and suburban areas while addressing the evolving consumer demand for flexible and environmentally sustainable solutions. Recipients have the option to select a nearby neighbour point, providing extended access and increased convenience for package collection.
This system reduces returns, lowers the number of rescheduled deliveries, and improves first-attempt delivery success rates—offering a superior customer experience.
The expansion of UPS’s Saturday delivery service—offered at no extra cost—further demonstrates the company’s commitment to enhancing convenience, choice and control. This service is now available in eight European countries, including key markets like France and Germany.
“Across France and Europe, we’re redefining logistics by blending our global scale and local innovations. Through solutions like Pickme and strategic investments in next-generation technologies, we’re ensuring our leading integrated network continues to provide the flexibility and adaptability our customers need to thrive in today’s market,” said Michiel van Veen, Managing Director UPS Benelux & France.
“This collaboration with UPS confirms Pickme’s added value in out-of-home delivery. By integrating our ‘relay neighbours’ to complement their existing network, we are together meeting expectations for more practical, more humane and more sustainable delivery,’’ said Jessie Toulcanon, Co-founder and CEO of Pickme.
