Post Danmark recorded a net profit of DKK 730 million in the first

Post Danmark recorded a net profit of DKK 730 million in the first nine months of
2006, up DKK 177 million on the same period the year before, where results, however, were affected by non-recurring costs of DKK 90 million in relation to employee shares.

Adjusted for this, the net improvement was DKK 87 million.
Total income for the first nine months of the year amounted to DKK 8,634 million, up DKK 223 million or 2.7 per cent on the same period last year.

A small increase was recorded in revenue from letters and magazine mail. Handsome growth was recorded in the parcels field, with revenue rising by approx. 7 per cent and volume by approx. 4 per cent. The positive development was driven, among other things, by the entry of new customers and growth in the light goods product. Revenue and volume also grew within the segments of dailies and unaddressed mail. The investment in De Post – La Poste, which was confirmed at the beginning of the year, is included in the profit with effect from 1 January 2006 in Share of profits or losses of associates. The results of associates were thus considerably higher than in the same period in 2005.

For the whole year, Post Danmark expects a slight increase in total income. The fall in letters volume is expected to continue, while growth is expected in the other main products, especially parcels.

An upward adjustment is made compared with the expectations expressed in the Announcement of Financial Statements for the First Half of 2006. Profit before tax for 2006 is now expected to be somewhat better than in 2005.

Enclosed is the Announcement of Financial Statements for the First Nine Months of
2006 of the Post Danmark Group.

Yours sincerely
