Poste Italiane celebrates the Group’s “fifth consecutive record-breaking first half”

Poste Italiane has reported record first-half financial results, driven by growth across all four of its business divisions, while reaffirming its full-year guidance and dividend policy.

The group reported record first-half revenues of €6.8 billion, up 5.9% year-on-year, with adjusted EBIT rising 6.8% to a record €1.77 billion. Net profit, excluding the contribution from its TIM stake, increased 3.5% to €1.21 billion, also a record for the period.

Total financial assets reached €613 billion, supported by €2.7 billion in net investment inflows and improving postal savings trends. Poste Italiane said it maintained a strong capital position, with a Poste Vita Solvency II ratio of 303%.

The company also announced several strategic milestones, including agreement on the terms of a new 2027–2030 Postal Savings Agreement with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and the creation of a new Financial Hub as it continues to advance its strategic transformation.

Commenting on the results, CEO Matteo Del Fante said: “the Group’s fifth consecutive record-breaking first half, reinforcing confidence in Poste Italiane’s platform business model and its ability to accelerate its strategic transformation through AI, organisational simplification and continued execution of its strategic priorities.”

Also last week, Poste Italiane said Italy’s market regulator, Consob, has approved the offer document for its voluntary public tender and exchange offer for Telecom Italia (TIM).

The acceptance period for the offer will run from 20 July to 11 September 2026. Poste Italiane said the TIM Board had unanimously supported the strategic rationale of the proposal and considered the offer fair from a financial perspective.
