Offer Period of InPost Offer extended until 18 September 2026

Offer Period of InPost Offer extended until 18 September 2026

InPost and the consortium bidding to acquire the parcel locker operator have extended the acceptance period for the recommended takeover offer until September 18, 2026, as they await final regulatory approvals from competition authorities.

The offer, originally scheduled to close on July 27, has been extended to allow time for reviews by the European Commission and the Vietnamese Competition Commission, the last remaining regulatory approvals needed to complete the transaction.

The companies said the European Commission is expected to issue its decision in the second half of August, while approval from Vietnam is anticipated by September 8. Although InPost does not operate in Vietnam, the clearance remains a formal requirement for the deal.

The extension gives shareholders additional time to tender their shares once both approvals have been secured. Shares already tendered will remain valid under the offer unless shareholders choose to withdraw them in accordance with the offer terms.

InPost and the consortium said the regulatory process remains on track and that they continue to work closely with both competition authorities to secure the outstanding approvals.

Apart from the revised timetable, all other terms and conditions of the takeover offer remain unchanged.

The companies also reiterated that shareholders should refer to the published Offer Memorandum and Position Statement for the complete terms of the transaction.

The announcement contains inside information under the European Union’s Market Abuse Regulation.
