Empost to deliver entry permits and residency documents through its Jawaz service- in Al-Ain

The move is expected to enhance and accelerate vital transactions between the Department and local residents and visitors.

As per the agreement, Empost will deliver the confidential entry permit documents to residents of Al Ain,. The entry permits comprise all types of visas which are issued by the Department of Naturalization and Residency to any foreigners wishing to work in or visit the UAE.

Empost, the United Arab Emirate's national courier company, has announced that it has recently signed an agreement with the Department of Emigration-Al-Ain to deliver entry permits, in addition to residency documents, through its Jawaz service.

Commenting on the agreement, Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost said,

'The rapid increase of people visiting the UAE has created the need for a reputed services provider, such as Empost, to assist in delivering the large number of visa's which are being processed. This agreement will enhance the process involved in obtaining entry permits, as the quick and reliable delivery will eliminate the time and effort it takes to stand in document collection queues. This initiative came as a request from the Department of Naturalization and Residency to enhance their services.'

'The agreement with Empost represents another progressive move by the Ministry to improve the quality, type and facilitation of its services,' Al Midfa added.

The agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi's Ministry of Interior between Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost and Mohamad Salem Bin Awaidah Al Khely, Director of the General Directorate of Naturalization and Residency Administration, Ministry of Interior. The Department of Naturalization and Residency is divided into twelve sections and is responsible for all issues pertaining to passports, residency and entry permits.

The Department is confident that Empost will provide a first class service to our clients, as the company has proved to be reliable and efficient when delivering our residency documents previously,' said Colonal Nasser Al Awaidi Yehya Al Manhali, Executive Director of the General Directorate, Department of Naturalisation and Residency.

'The initiative is in line with directives from H.H. Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Minister, who is committed to creating one of the world's most modern and efficient ministries,' Al Manhali added.
