The Post Office HomePhone service launches special offers

A staggering one million minutes are given away to callers by the Post Office® every month as part of its free and unlimited call offer. Each month, selected destinations are included in the offer – in August the focus will shift from North America to Australia and New Zealand.
Every Sunday in July, Post Office phonecards are offering customers the chance to chat for as long as they want to friends and family in Canada and the USA for 15 pence per call.
Throughout July, Post Office phone cards also offers free calls every Saturday between midday and midnight GMT to France, Germany, Italy and Portugal – so calling friends and family living or holidaying on the continent has never been easier or better value
Over two million minutes are used by Post Office phone card customers per week. By dialling a free phone number from a UK landline, customers using the cards benefit from great call costs, no connection or maintenance fees and per second billing.
The Post Office HomePhone service was launched in January 2005 and has quickly become one of the fastest growing residential telephony providers.
HomePhone is committed to offering a simple, transparent service and was the first alternative provider to offer a single itemised bill for both line rental and call charges.
