HIM Furness sells distribution centres to Frans Maas

HIM Furness is selling its seven European distribution centres in the Benelux, France and England, including its sales offices in the US and Japan, to Frans Maas for an undisclosed sum. HIM Furness said it is concentrating its activities on selling cars. The distribution centres book annual turnover of NLG 85 mln and employ 500 people. Frans Maas will pay for the acquisition in cash and is to be completed before December 1.
