Haypost to open an affiliated company “Haypost International” in Europe for international postal operations

Haypost CJSC is planning to open an affiliated company in Europe for international postal operations. Haypost Director Hans Boon told
ArmInfo correspondent that the new company will be called “Haypost
International” and it will be set up in the Netherlands. He noted
that “Haypost International” will be opened in Leiden or in another
small town in its suburbs. While choosing the town, Haypost will take
into consideration the size of the Armenian community there, as it
is the foreign Armenians that will mostly make use of the company’s
services, he added. He also added that at present they are finishing the
talks with Justice Ministry of the Netherlands to settle relevant
legal issues for opening and activity of the company, which will be
officially opened on 18 June.

Along with it, Haypost is going to open several new post offices
in European states, which in fact will be just points for letters
collection, but thanks to them correspondence from European states
to Armenia will become faster as it will be implemented in the single
Haypost network, Hans Boon said.

To recall, at present 900 post offices are functioning at Haypost
system.
