USA small business federation forms alliance with FedEx

): A leading small business organisation in the USA has established an alliance with express delivery giant FedEx in a move designed to cut distribution costs for its members.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) says it has signed an agreement with FedEx Corporate Services, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, to provide services and discounts on shipping to its 600,000 members. Elaborating, NFIB says the deal will provide its small business members with “significant” discounts on FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home delivery services.

“NFIB endorses FedEx as the exclusive recommended shipping provider to its members. This type of exclusive relationship is a win-win situation for everyone,” claims Bernie Butler, vice president of marketing, development and technology for NFIB.

Under the new the agreement, NFIB will make FedEx shipping discounts available to members directly through its newly-launched website, www.nfib.com. “This alliance will not only add value to nfib.com but also extend FedEx brand visibility among small businesses and entrepreneurs,” states NFIB.
