Class A (priority) domestic letters weighing up to 20 grams are to be increased by 9 centimes to 40 centimes (previously 31 centimes). The B class domestic letter rate has also been increased.

Simple postcards and letters posted between 15 December and 15 January will be subject to a festive discount.

Recorded Class A (priority) domestic letters weighing up to 20 grams is being increased by 33 centimes to a whopping 67 centimes, while the Class B recorded letter is being increased by a further 40 centimes to 98 centimes (previously 58 centimes).

Letters weighing up to 20 grams for destination within the EU and some other countries, are being increased, in some cases, by as much as 10 centimes.
