Cyprus pushes for greater use of Postcodes

In an effort to encourage customers to make use of postcodes, Cyprus Post is offering up to 25% savings on postage for bulk mailers.

In an effort to encourage customers to make use of postcodes, Cyprus Post is offering up to 25% savings on postage for bulk mailers.

The four-digit postcode system will be essential to enable Cyprus to make full use of new automatic sorting equipment already running at its new sorting centre. The postcodes contain all the necessary information for the routing, sorting and quick delivery of postal items.

Cyprus Post is state-owned, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Communications and Works and is headed by a Director, who is responsible for the administration, organization and supervision of the overall activities of the department.
