Hermes launches C2C service

The service includes a safe place collection and delivery, and a signature upon receipt.

Hermes, formerly known as Parcelnet, has launched a consumer-to-consumer service to meet increased demand for convenient home delivery, following the growth of internet, online retail and ebay changing shopping behaviour.

myHermes offers a fully transactional website where customers can place an order for parcels to be collected from their home and delivered anywhere in UK, with prices starting from £3.99.

The service includes a safe place collection and delivery, and a signature upon receipt.

Carole Woodhead, chief executive of Hermes in UK, said: “myHermes.co.uk will offer consumers an easy and convenient service that is unique within the marketplace.

“By utilising our extensive network of local couriers and home delivery expertise, we have created an offering that will drive volume through our business and deliver a high quality experience to our customers.”
