Lufthansa Cargo honours most successful Global Partner

Lufthansa Cargo has honoured its Global Partner Agility with the “Planet Award of Excellence”.

Lufthansa Cargo has honoured its Global Partner Agility with the “Planet Award of Excellence”.
The air cargo carrier thus recognised the outstanding performances in its worldwide cooperation during the last year, which was confirmed, in particular, by the high level of customer satisfaction and a double-digit growth in the business with Lufthansa Cargo. In addition, the high joint market share and the outstanding loyalty of Agility to Lufthansa Cargo were the decisive factors for the assessment.
“Our cooperation in 2008 with Agility was excellent”, says Dr. Andreas Otto, executive board member, Product and Sales at Lufthansa Cargo. “It has thereby been shown that with our Global Partnership Program we can achieve a great deal together, also and especially in economically difficult times”.
Essa Al-Saleh, president and CEO of Agility of Global Integrated Logistics, accepted the prize during the 11th Global Partner Council of Lufthansa Cargo in Carinthia, Austria: “We are delighted about this award and the successes which we have been able to achieve with our strong partner Lufthansa Cargo. It proves that our joint efforts with respect to quality and customer satisfaction are worthwhile and are bringing us further forward.”
The Lufthansa Cargo Global Partnership Program has developed in recent years into a sustainable platform for stability and growth. The objective of the program, besides a joint participation in the worldwide growth of the airfreight market, is a more intensive cooperation and interlinking in capacity planning as well as in operative processes and systems.
