The delivery of about 100,000 UPS packages were delayed after a fire at a facility in Colorado, USA.

The fire happened at the facility in Commerce City. Speaking at the time, a spokesperson said the 100,000 packages will take one or more days to be delivered and added that operation is back up and running.

Of the 100,000 packages; only about 12,000 will be delayed for the Denver metro area. 500 of those packages were damaged. The spokesperson says damage ranges from smoke damage to internal damage. UPS staff members are in the process of examining every package. They will contact shippers directly regarding any damage.
