UK RELATIONSHIP WITH FEDEX EXPRESS

Business Post Group plc (“Business Post”), the express parcel and mail delivery company, today announces that it has reached agreement to act as Global Service Participant (“GSP”) for FedEx Express in the United Kingdom. Under this agreement Business Post will make collections and deliveries on behalf of FedEx Express in those areas in the UK which are not served directly by FedEx Express. In addition, Business Post customers will gain access to the FedEx worldwide air network, while FedEx Express customers in the UK will benefit from the extensive ground infrastructure of Business Post. It is anticipated that this 5-year GSP agreement, which will commence on 3 September 2001, will increase Business Post’s annual revenues by approximately 10%.
