Emirates Post partners up with Dubai Quality Group

Emirates Post has joined the Dubai Quality Group (DQG) as an Investor Partner. The partnership aims at reinforcing the quality level of services provided by the post and enabling it to implement initiatives and strategic plans in order to expand its operations through its network of more than 100 post offices.

The group indicated that this partnership falls within the framework of the efforts played by both parties to support the sustainable development plan in the UAE with regard to the achievement of the quality and excellence in organisational performance.

Osama Al Rahma, vice chairman of DQG, said: “The new partnership will definitely provide Emirates Post with the needed consultancy and information to consolidate its position as an organisation concerned with quality of postal and non-postal services; and thereby strengthen the position of the UAE by making available solutions as a developed and integrated service.”

He added: “It has become necessary to maintain the commitment to organizational excellence and high quality standards in order to maintain a competitive and leading position at the global level in light of the challenges faced by enterprises and service organizations in all parts of the world.”

Salem Al Shaya, Emirates Post deputy executive director, pointed out that this partnership will enhance quality management within Emirates Post and provide its departments with the necessary tools in order to continue dealing with quality initiatives within the framework of organisational excellence. He added: “We, at Emirates Post, believe that the shortest path to success and excellence at all levels is achieving the highest standards of quality, not forgetting to look forward the implementation of joint projects with Dubai Quality Group.”
