La Poste Plans Delta Diffusion Takeover

“French post office La Poste plans to take over Delta Diffusion, via its subsidiary Mediapost. Delta Diffusion, the targeted mail-shot and geomarketing specialist with a turnover of 127m euros is a subsidiary of Comareg, part of the Vivendi Universal Publishing group. The acquisition is the first step in the creation of a very competitive division in the sector for La Poste, combing distribution power and targeting expertise.” La Tribune states, “The project is subject to the approval of the competition authorities as well as the ministries governing the respective activities of the groups.” (Source: World Reporter)
