Securicor wins e-bid with BA
Securicor Omega Express has secured what the parcel carrier describes as one of the first ever courier contracts through an online e-bid event conducted recently by British Airways. Omega Express was chosen out of 10 companies taking part in the online tender, which was prompted by BAs decision to streamline its parcel despatch system. This illustrates how BA is successfully utilising the latest technology to streamline its business said Silla Maizey, BA procurement director.
