Roadferry adds value

Roadferry, the second largest haulier on the Scotland-Ireland route, has strengthened its position with the acquisition of the Palletline and groupage services of Sandy Bruce Trucking (SBT). Operating out of depots in Glasgow and Aberdeen, the purchase adds a further 32 trucks to the companys existing fleet of 75 tractors. Roadferry managing director Jim McGhee describes the deal as a: very amicable take over of operations. He goes on to say: this exciting acquisition gives added impetus to our development. Roadferry reveals that it is in the market for other similar acquisitions.
