Severance deal reached for US pilots

A deal has been reached to compensate US-based pilots who lost their jobs due to DHL’s relocation from Wilmington, Ohio. Air Transport Services Group, the parent company of ABX, has said $75m will be distributed amongst the pilots.

The agreement disburses the money to the workers’ pension funds and for severance benefits.

DHL closed its facility in Wilmington and moved to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport last year, with 8,000 employees losing their jobs.
