Swiss Post creates new offices

Swiss Post is renovating 20,000 square metres of office space at its Montbrillant operational centre near Cornavin, Geneva’s main train station. The 80m franc project will upgrade and reutilise space no longer needed because of the modernisation of a mail sorting system, the post office said.

Renovations are scheduled to be completed by 2012. The offices will be leased by two cantonal government departments.

Postal operations at the Montbrillant centre will unaffected by the construction work, Swiss Post said.
