La Poste wants to be one of the top three parcels groups in Europe

La Poste, the French post office, wants to be one of the top three parcels groups in Europe, according to chairman Martin Vial.

This, he says, is why the group has taken stakes in the three main parcels markets in Europe: Germany, where La Poste is the second parcels operator, the UK, where it is ranked fourth, and France, where it is the leader. These markets represent two thirds of the European market.
