Ford sells vans to Canada Post

Canada Post has selected Ford Motor Co.’s Transit Connect compact van to replace its aging light vehicle fleet. The Dearborn automaker said Thursday that Canada Post has placed an initial order of 1,175 of the Turkish-made commercial vans after concluding that they best met its modernisation requirements.

“We are pleased with the outcome and look forward to the delivery of our first vehicles as we begin to replace many of our aging light vehicles, with vehicles that are much more efficient and environmentally friendly,” said Bill Michalopulos, general manager in charge of sourcing at Canada Post.
