Pos Indonesia plans future investment

Pos Indonesia has allocated Rp 500bn to develop its IT systems, improve the quality and infrastructure, and strengthen its human resources. “We are investing in all the services,” Pos Indonesia CEO I Ketut Mardjana told Tempo Interactive.

According to the report, the company has targeted Rp 3 trillion in revenues after making Rp 2.4 trillion last year. The profit in mail services, logistics, and financial distribution is targeted to be Rp 170bn, an increase over last year’s Rp 84bn.

“We lost Rp 71 billion in 2008, but we gained profit last year,” Mardjana said.
