Companies battle it out for World Mail Awards
An evening of high drama and anticipation is now promised after applications closed for this year’s World Mail Awards. Nominations for the Awards, in its 11th year and organised by Triangle Management Services, surpassed the 100 mark despite the industry being hit by the worst recession in decades.
Now it is down to the judges to decide who will triumph at the ceremony in Copenhagen on 15 June, on the eve of the industry-leading World Mail & Express Europe Conference & Exhibition.
Neil Jackson, Triangle’s chief executive, said: “The World Mail Awards strives to reward excellence, and this year promises to be the most hotly-fought event yet.
“We are really pleased to get more than 100 applications given the economic climate. This illustrates that even in a downturn posts are still innovating, improving and investing in the future. We cannot wait for the ceremony to take place and to find out who prevails.
“I would like to thank every applicant for their time and we look forward to seeing you in Copenhagen.”
The World Mail Awards will be presented by Danish media personality Annette Heick at a black tie dinner at the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel.
