Horler joins Royal Mail Group board

Royal Mail Group has appointed Nick Horler, chief executive of ScottishPower, as a non-executive director of the Group. Donald Brydon, chairman of the Group, said: “I’m very pleased to be adding Nick’s experience in regulated and consumer-facing business to the Board of Royal Mail Group.

Horler, 49, was appointed chief executive of ScottishPower in June 2008. He previously held a variety of senior executive roles for more than ten years with E.ON UK, and he was also the sales and marketing director of Phillips Petroleum (now ConocoPhillips).
