Montreal Bank Will Host Mail Boxes Etc.

Bank of Montreal’s Queensway and Kipling branch will share its site with Mail Boxes Etc. The bank and Mail Boxes Etc., a franchisor of retail business communication and postal service centres, have struck an agreement to test a shared-site concept at the Toronto-area branch. “‘The Queensway and Kipling branch is a full-service location with a large and active number of retail and business clients,’ said Dean Kriekle, Senior Vice-President, Bank of Montreal.” The news release: “‘This is an ideal location to test a shared-premises concept,’ said Michael Martino, President of Mail Boxes Etc. Canada. ‘It provides customers with a convenient, reliable means to support their retail business, communication and postal service needs and to access comprehensive financial services from the same location.’ Over the next eight weeks, the traditional branch will be renovated into shared premises to include space for a new 800 sq. ft. Mail Boxes Etc. Centre. The Mail Boxes Etc. Centre will be open six days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m on Saturday. Banking customers will have convenient access to a full range of MBE business services including Xerox quality digital copiers, scanners, finishing services, computer workstations, document transfer and courier services, and worldwide UPS/FedEx services. The remodelled branch will also include a vestibule area that provides 24- hour access to banking machines and Mail Boxes Etc. mail boxes.” (Source: Canada NewsWire)
