DHL Japan renews rate structure

DHL Japan has renewed the rate structure for its DHL EXPRESS 9:00 and DHL EXPRESS 12:00 services effective as of today (July 1). This enables customers to enjoy these services more frequently not only for urgent shipments but also for daily shipments, the company said.

Previously, additional rates for DHL EXPRESS 9:00 and DHL EXPRESS 12:00 were fixed on top of the shipping rates for DHL’s EXPRESS WORLDWIDE service, which carries shipments including documents and parcels to over 220 countries and territories throughout the DHL worldwide network.

Now, the rate structure is based on DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE services, with rates assigned by destination and weight. The revised structure reduces rates for relatively lightweight shipments, making it easier for more customers to benefit from specialised transport of their cargo. For instance, a customer shipping non-document cargo of 1kg to Hong Kong or Taiwan, now enjoys a rate 20% lower than the previous rate including additional fees.
