An Post rebrands online shopping directory
Irish operator An Post has rebranded its online shopping directory. The move will help more than 600 Irish and international brands promote their products during the peak e-commerce season in the run-up Christmas.
The site is changing to the new name of iloveshopping.ie, which has already created big business for An Post customers and in turn An Post’s parcels business.
Louise Cronje, An Post’s manager of iloveshopping.ie, said: “Customers can browse the range of retailers, plan a shopping list, contact the e-tailers directly with questions and sign-up to get hot offers and promotions in our newsletters.
“This site particularly suits the Irish market, where, compared to European shoppers our customers spend a long time browsing and even making sample purchases before finally buying online.”
“The business model for iloveshopping.ie is simple” said An Post head of sales & marketing, Liam Sheehan. “It is to help our customers to grow their business, because if they grow, we grow,” he added.
Originally launched in November 2009, growth in demand for the service was such that An Post designed a new -look directory.
Starting up with 100 e-tailers, the newly launched site now boasts over 600 brands, large and small. The expanded site will add value to An Post’s overall parcel offering and grow the Company’s share of business in a very competitive parcel market.
