Bax Global acquire Austrian forwarder.
Bax Global, a global forwarding provider, has constructed a new company in
Austria after acquiring the air and ocean logistics operations from Austrian
logistics operator Schier, Otten & Co. (7/25/2001)
Schier, Otten, a mid-sized forwarding company concentrating on trucking and
warehousing, was Bax Global’s former agent. Bax now operates in three
Austrian cities: Vienna, Linz and Graz. The company’s new name will be Bax Global GmbH, Austria and is located at the Air Cargo Terminal of Vienna Airport. The company’s new managing director is Albert Klamert, Bax Global’s current managing director, Eastern Europe.
