Speaker line-up confirmed for Americas event
An impressive line-up of speakers has been confirmed for the upcoming World Mail & Express Americas Conference & Exhibition. The event – which takes place in Mexico City from 7-9 February – will concentrate on the importance of staying relevant, and how businesses can meet the new challenges facing the post and parcel industries.
Furthermore, due to the Mexican government shifting a public holiday to 7 February, event organisers Triangle Management Services have confirmed the conference days will now take place on the 8-9 February.
The speakers list features global leaders, as well as leading executives from the Americas market.
Juan Ernesto Vargas Uribe, president, 4-72, La Red Postal de Colombia, will be amongst the opening morning’s panel, discussing the best ways to meet customer expectations. Uribe will be joined by Carlos Modest Guzman, director general, Instituto Postal Dominicano, who will address how the Dominican Republic is staying relevant.
Saudi Post CEO Dr Muhammad Benten examines the postal industry as a sales portal, whilst Thomas Kipp, CEO, DHL Global Mail, will tell the conference about the similarities of the challenges facing the industry across differing geographies.
Peter Somers, CEO of the bpost international, will also take to the stage at World Mail & Express Americas, along with Jeff Sibio, industry marketing director, Transport and Logistics, Intermec Technologies, and Geovanni Campos, postal distribution director, Correos de Costa Rica.
Other highlights will include presentations from Pablo Moreno, CEO, ampm, and Salustio Prieto Marquez, vice president, Business Units & Marketing, Empresa Correos de Chile.
As well as stimulating conference sessions, World Mail & Express Americas offers a vast array of networking opportunities via an exhibition, cocktail party, drinks reception and lunches.
